Foster Kitten Friday 6/7/19

​What a fun week it's been with the kittens ... Happy five weeks old to them!

Well, let me back up for a moment and say that the week started off a little scary when Avery, the tiniest of the bunch lost some weight. But she has rallied back and I'm happy to report that she has gained 90 (!!!) grams this week AND she is the only one of the four kittens who is now eating actual kitten food! Good job, Avery!!

She's still almost 200 grams shy of her siblings, but she is catching up SO fast, especially now that she's eating hearty meals.  I've been trying to get her siblings interested in food, but they are having too much fun playing with some of the toys I've brought in and have zero interest in anything other than the milk bar. Goal for the week!  

Did I mention the kittens are having fun playing? They are non-stop balls of energy! Here are some of the shots I managed to get this week … and believe me, it's not easy. They rarely stay still long enough to snap a picture.

And of course hello from these guys, who think naps and treats are way cooler than kittens.
