Happy Friday! It's been a busy week here with the kittens. Before I get started on our adventures, I want to briefly answer a message I received recently: YES, I am still writing! A long overdue book/writing update is in the works for my newsletter and blog … promise! But first, let's talk about my furry foster family.
When I first typed this out, it was long -- really long. So here are the highlights of the week. Plus I know you're really here for the pictures - here's one to get you started:
Now for some highlights...
Monday - Mama Chloe escaped from the kitten pen.. not out into the wild or anything, but she did run under the bed. If you've ever tried to get an unwilling cat out from under the bed, you know how tough it is. Now try getting an unwilling feral cat out from under the bed. Not a fun morning.
Tuesday - I had to bring Mama Chloe back to the clinic to get spayed and vaccinated. Having learned my lesson from yesterday, I MacGivered the bedroom, removing all entrances to the under bed area and stressed all night about how to get her in the carrier. By some miracle that I will not question, she got right in. Thank you, Chloe! Also, she did great at the clinic and was back with her kittens by the end of the day.
Wednesday - Happy Two Weeks Old!
The rest of the week was all about eating, sleeping, playing, growing, and looking cute! Ready for your pictures?
My two handsome guys still seem completely uninterested with the new smells and goings on behind the closed off bedroom door upstairs. It might have something to do with the extra treats.
Have a great weekend!
